Brooklyn Teams Gathering for the First time since Olympiad
Upcoming Cinco de Mayo Team Blitz, Open Streets Chelsea start the cycle of extra Spring events.
This week at Bushwick Chess is going to be a big one. With two open streets behind us and more events ahead there is a lot to cover. Starting the week with a standard fair rapid tournament at Nook, but heats up along with New York for the Sunday Team Blitz at BrookLAN. Players of all skill levels will compete in five player teams for a shot at the trophy, with class prizes and more.
Cinco de Mayo Team Blitz 5/5: BrookLAN
In a round robin format, up to ten teams of five will face off this Sunday at BrookLAN for a team event similar to the Chess Club Olympiad last September. Chess Clubs, themed teams and more will all take a shot at one another for a day of slower blitz. Livestreamed through BrookLAN’s state of the art production team, spectators both at the event and at home will have eyes on the champions facing off for gold.
Solo entries gaurantee players a slot on a team, while five person full tickets can be purchased outright to lock all five players in place. This event is as friendly as it can get, with a rating average limit of 1700. Grab your ticket today to ensure your seat at the next big Bushwick Chess event!
Club Rapid 4/30: Nook
