Cinco De Mayo Team Blitz Battle 5/5
It’s time again to hit BrookLAN with the chess players, this time with a team of five. Players of all skill levels face off in an epic round robin clash against up to nine other teams for Cinco de Mayo’s Battle of Five Armies style action. Jump into the pit for a Sunday full of fun and make sure to SIGN UP HERE either solo or with your full team to play. Spectators welcome as players compete for class prizes, team prizes and more. This is one not to miss as the next time we meet for a team battle will be our annual showcase Chess Club Olympiad in September.
Open Streets!!!
Players gathered last Saturday from 12-6 for a marathon grind of outdoor chess, playing alongside the best in the world as they fought in the Toronto Candidates to declare the challenger to World Champion. Open Streets saw mimes, juggling and sun along with a ton of chess. Join us this Saturday for the NYABF in Chelsea 4/27 as we represent Bushwick and hang in a new location.
